Manchu Wok

After spending my afternoon here enjoying flavourful beef, moist noodles, and oriental chicken finer than that one might find in the far east. I can confidently say that all other former patrons leaving their one star reviews here must have been put up to it by Manchu’s competition, Bourbon St. Grill, who has their storefront across the food court…My only gripe though is the nomenclature of their “Oriental Chicken” good thing it’s tasty or else I might have a bone to pick with it’s out of date name..Overall a 4/5 is greatly deserves by the fine folks over at Manchu Wok-Chinook Centre.. Keep up the fine work, and don’t let the ginger BEEF from the cretin public stop you. ✋

Went to this location and got the sweet and sour pork, honey garlic chicken, noodles and veggies. chicken and pork tasted like styrofoam and food was bland. we took it back after eating 1-2 bites and they refused to give us a refund. we paid over $30 for the food and after having to go back and fourth they finally gave up and gave us our refund. our bellies felt pretty sick after those few bites, so i couldn’t imagine what would’ve happened if we ate the whole thing.definitely will not be going back.

Stopped by for Lunch and got the 3 item, the oriental chicken has a lovely charbroiled flavor to it, I also got the sweet and sour pork, it was good too, and lastly the black pepper steak, always a good option, if your eating rice but I got the lo mein which is my usual. Overall was a good experience and will order again whenever I am around.

This is the worst food I have ever had to be honest, it was fresh and warm but also had no line, I thought to myself that's not right and figured I would give them a try! I am sadly disappointed and regret my buying decision, I assume their is a reason it had no line compared to the others, the meat taste like bread! Brutal man!!

I tried this place for the first time today and it will be my last most likely. The only thing I found I enjoyed was the honey garlic chicken. Good flavor, but when I moved onto my rice and chicken wings I found myself severely disappointed.I love chicken wings personally and was excited to see them but when I began to eat them I found it just tasted like oil more so than a light crispy batter. Not to mention they were mostly the wing ends rather than the chicken leg itself you see at most places.As for the rice it was bland and nothing really special about it to begin with. I tasted more of the skillet than whatever flavor they tried to convey and oddly enough my rice seemed... dry?Lastly they charge more if you want noodles instead of rice which I personally found odd. I believe it's about $1 more for noodles. Never experienced that beforeOver all save your money and go somewhere else unless you want to just eat the honey garlic chicken. I'm a food lover at heart and it's sad when I can't even finish my meal.

My husband had the rice and honey garlic chicken, I had the rice and sweet and sour pork. Both were so delicious. Will definitely be back for more.

The vegetables were good, Shanghai noodles a little bland but I like the texture. The garlic chicken is just super salty mystery meat. Stuck between a 2 or 3 star review

My husband and I wanted a quick bite at the mall before we continued to shop. Please choose another place to eat. My husband had their orange chicken and sweet and sour pork, it was burned or had a nasty bitter taste to it. Went to the shop to tell them and pretty much said too bad. (This was a blessing in disguise, continue reading and you will know why).He went to famous wok and the food was much better.I had Shanghai noodles, their signature chicken and ginger beef. Let me tell you, I'm sitting on the toilet writing this. My tummy has been hurting all night and my toilet has become my best friend this evening.Do yourself a huge favor, go else where for you meal.Update. Also been puking all night.

My friend bought a $12 wok express with one add on (spring roll). It tastes good, but it was unbelievably small (especially if it’s just noodles and cabbage +1 spring roll). We asked to add a tiny bit more noodles but was refused.

Had previously reviewed but it felt a bit harshly worded. So I’m reeling it in a bit:Basically unfriendly staff, too expensive,bland, soggy, poor quality meat.Would not go there again. Paid $20 roughly, and after one or two bites wasn’t looking forward to eating anymore. Better places in the mall to eat.
